The Venus Sequence Part II

"Men are marvelous; women are wonderful," in the new paradigm.

THE FIRST STEP on the path to truth is sorting oneself out from the crowd, distinguishing oneself from the herd mentality and the accepted thought patterns that predominate. Claiming one's Individuality and standing in one's own right as an unique Human Being is the second step. The third step on the path to truth is embracing relationship in equanimity and harmony with one's peers, surroundings and Universe. A journey from the Head to the Heart, and from the Heart to the Being.

In our passage through the first step to truth, we find that in current times we are incessantly jostled by so many different inputs of apparent importance. There are those who insist we do what "God wishes," those who insist we do what the "political party wishes," those who insist we do what the text books tell us, and those who insist we do what our "nationality" demands of us. All of these inputs seem credible and important on the surface until you look a little beneath the surface at who derives the benefits involved in the "faithful" following these suggestions. Sooner or later, you find the motivating factors from most institutions are the base instincts of fear and power.

For almost as long as HIS-tory recounts, men have been obsessed by power. Men are constantly jostling each other to appear to be the dominant male through one form or another. Without this mad obsession for power and dominance, particularly over women, there would exist no war, famine, poverty, fighting, greed, bigotry, duplicity, politics (as we know it), religions (as we experience them) and all the curses of life on earth in these times. Without the male's internal imbalance brought about through a sense of personal incompleteness and impotence on some internal level, the world would be a place of expanding creativity, joy and celebration. All destructive and selfish motives would dissolve as men stood in their personal integrity as individuals and embraced their relationships easily and completely. Monumental levels of creativity would be unleashed in obvious contrast to the destructiveness that the world assumes to be normal in these times.

A woman's trap is jealousy, which renders her weakened in her own potentials as she is caught in the endless downward spiral of comparisons. Any time a woman competes with another woman for attention, she is falling into her biology and the genetic predisposition to be a breeder who will produce the heir for some man. Any time a woman seeks to compare herself to a man and his capabilities she loses her essence of femininity and grace. When a woman gets into a power contest with a man, she may find herself winning on the face of things but losing immensely to her own nature. Women are naturally the most creative creatures in Existence, having the gift to birth other humans, the vessels for evolving consciousness - but this is not their only gift. Women are naturally attuned to our Mother Earth and carry within them the knowledge of everything that our planet needs to express Herself most creatively. Creation through love, after all, is the natural expansion of this Universe.

The Imbalance and the Venus Sequence
Long, long ago there was a disconnect. Something occurred in the formation of the Universe and the containment of consciousness in various forms that eventually came to be the human being, where human consciousness experienced separation from the source. It was so long ago that no one can remember how it happened. There are varied fables and stories coming from different world cultures that explain man's separation from God and each one of them describe some context of a misunderstanding. "Man," on some level, decided to go his own way and deny the source. The source has remained there whether man gave it any attention or not, but I have this image of the source scratching its head and wondering, "What does man think he's up to?"

Whatever one wishes to believe, it is obvious that all things are interconnected, so considering oneself to be apart from the source is possible, yet foolish. However, the belief of separation was so firmly established throughout time, that it became part of our inbuilt genetic makeup. So, these days, we go about our lives in our own little bubbles of reality, occasionally crashing into the truth of our connectedness when we fall (or rise) in love, have a close call with death, or pass into a deep space of silence where we become self-realized and "reenter" Universal Consciousness for a brief "satori" or a lasting "enlightenment." (Many people die when they have this experience, because the "game is up!" and there is no point in continuing.)

The sense of separation is lodged in our genes. It has been passed down genetically from grandparents to grandchildren for eons. It is no one's fault - it is just the way in which things evolved when "separation" became the accepted reality. This is one of the startling revelations that came with the Venus Sequence. The "wound" or the sense of separation is genetic and anything that we carry in a genetic stream coming from our grandparents is held in our deep unconscious. As long as we live with the wound of separation, we are going to live in imbalance.

We have absolutely no way to know of these genetic predispositions without some light being shone on them. Fortunately, through the wisdom that streams through the Venus Sequence we can now not only see what we have inherited, we can cause a dramatic shift in our awareness that ends the separation. By immersing ourselves in our own Venus Sequence, not only do we end the seemingly eternal separation, but also, the whole imbalance between masculine and feminine, potent or impotent, abundant or impoverished, creative or destructive, loved or unloved... it simply ceases to exist! We become whole. We enter into the dimension of knowing ourselves and our potentials so well that we are wholly balanced in our relating with others. Not only that, but we open the doorway for all of our forebears to be whole as well. Separation is ended.

Does this all sound fantastic? Perhaps. But this is how it is with the commencement of all new knowledge. Revelation leads to incredulity and finally to acceptance through personal experience.

The Venus Sequence
I will attempt to convey to you the way in which the Venus Sequence works. The real experience is a deep understanding that happens on an individual basis through engaging one's own Venus Sequence. The experiencing is very simple.

The Venus Sequence comprises a 12 stage process of recognizing parts of our genetic makeup that come specifically from our maternal grandmother and our paternal grandfather. It does not matter if you never met these people in your life, because the genes and the genetic predisposition you have received from them are easily recognized through mathematical calculations related to the Human Design system.

The Venus Sequence engages specifically with the inherent energies associated with the placements of the planets Venus, Mars and Jupiter, both in the conscious and unconscious parts of our Design.

If one is going to examine the extent of the effects of Venus in our life, we would consider immediately that it has much to do with love (and thus relationships) and how we experience love, either through giving or receiving. Venus' effects also can be related to how we engage creatively (or not) with our world, and whether we experience ourselves in a place of wholesome fullness and well-being or not. Remember, we are not very far removed from the Dark and Middle Ages, and so the expression and receiving of love has much stigma around it, and our confidence in trusting our wholesomeness is constantly bombarded.

The Venus Sequence gives immediate access to the recognition of the barriers that we consciously and unconsciously place around ourselves that limit us in our lives to interacting from a feeble and minimal presence. We are held almost entirely in a low level vibration of natural expression.

When we examine the presence of Mars in our Design, on the conscious level, we experience how we forge our (separate) way in the world, and blockade ourselves from others with our particular defense strategy. On the unconscious side, which we have inherited directly from our paternal grandfather, we carry the deeply ingrained wound of separation that keeps us permanently off-balance. In our normal life, this wound is completely concealed but when the light of the Venus Sequence shines on it, immediately it becomes apparent, and then has the means to dissipate.

The placement of Jupiter in our makeup describes our overflowing abundance. So long as Jupiter is constrained to operate in a (genetically predisposed) low-level frequency, we are puzzled but unknowingly held apart from our alignment with the source of growth, expansion and plenitude. When Jupiter is able to vibrate naturally for us, not only does the sensation of abundance become our nature, there begins an overflow. The overflow can proceed to a natural release of the miraculous.

The keys for our life are available - have them!

We need to extricate ourselves from the unending cycle of men's madness and women's weakness because there really is no need for it. We are not separate, we only think we are because of the deep conditioning in our genes. It is time for all men to enter their natural state of being Marvelous. Women, it is time to enter your natural state of Wonderful. (Yes you are already, but there is so, so much more!)
